Coach Says: Spencer Whitfield has been a tremendous high school football player since day one. Spencer was a huge part of last year’s District Championship team. His ability to play multiple positions on both sides of the ball speaks volumes for his athleticism, but also his high IQ and understanding of the game. I believe he’s due for his biggest year yet heading into his senior season.
Why do you play football?
I play football because I’ve played it since I was a kid and feel as if it apart of who I am

The feeling of excitement during the captains meeting
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Levon Bell I enjoyed watching his play style as a running back and the patience he shows.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Scoring the go ahead touchdown in the D5 Championship game.
What was last years season like for you?
It was a highly enjoyable season with coming back from surgery and winning the D5 championship.
What are your goals for this coming season?
To prove that we can win it all again.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
The first time I went to watch a Penn State white out game because the atmosphere inside the stadium.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Grid Iron Gang because the coach never game up on the kids and was always there for them.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
They are most likely just cheering me on.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Rush for over 200 yards in a game.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My brother because he works harder than any other person I know.
