Why do you play football?

Isaiah: I play it because I’ve always played it and I love the sport. It’s something I like and my brothers played while I was growing up and I just love being out on the field and it makes me feel something that nothing else can make me feel.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Isaiah: Being on the field with my brothers making memories, having cool plays and cheering them on.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Isaiah: JJ Watt I like what he stands for and how he adapts his game to who he’s gonna play.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

Isaiah: My dad, he buys me everything he bought me weights and he supports me through any decision I have, even if I would want to do something different with my life he would support my decision no matter what.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

Isaiah: My coach Shannon Manning, he played in college but always tries to do the best he can for a kid with football, academics he doesn’t care he wants you to be a better person not just focus on football but be a better person yourself.

What is your desired major in college?

Isaiah: Criminal Justice

What are some team goals for this upcoming season?

Isaiah: Every single year we always have the goal of winning the district title and this year we are even gonna go farther and hopefully get a few rounds into states and see what we can do in state playoffs

How has COVID-19 affected you?

Isaiah: It has Changed the routine drastically, I can’t work out with teammates and walk through plays, we are doing zoom calls and working out in my garage with the weights I got. Some of the teammates go up to a field and play ball, catch, and run routes. We’re getting a lot done with what we can do.

What is your personal goal for this season?

Isaiah: Being the best teammate I can be to my friends and fellow teammates

Favorite activities?

Isaiah: Love to workout, hike, and swim.
