Why do you play football?
Baine: I play football because I love everything about the sport.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
Baine: Beating southern Huntington on my birthday has to be my favorite memory from football so far.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
Baine: LeBron James is my favorite pro athlete because he is the most dominant athlete I’ve ever seen and he’s been able to perform at such a high level for so long.
Who is your biggest fan and why?
Baine: My dad is my biggest fan, no matter how the game plays out my dad is always beyond proud of my performance even if its not great.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
Baine: I look up to Carson Wentz as a person and an athlete. I like the way he brings faith into the game of football and continues to do things for his community in Philadelphia.
What is your desired major in college?
Baine: My desired major in college is criminology.
What are some team goals for this upcoming season?
Baine: Our team goals this year are to return to the playoffs and perform better than we did last year in the regular season and playoffs.
How has COVID-19 affected you?
Baine: Although the cancellation of school and sports has been difficult, COVID-19 has affected me greatly in a positive way. I was fortunate enough to have weight room access during the quarantine. It was actually nice because everything was stopped and the only thing I could focus on was getting better for a long period of time.
Favorite play to run?
Baine: Favorite play to run is a fade, nothing feels better than beating someone 1 on 1.
What is your personal goal for this season?
Baine: My personal goal for this season is to show out as a player and double my yards in receiving from last year and to lead my team in touchdowns. Defensively I don’t want to allow a pass all season in man coverage.
Favorite pre-game meal?
Baine: Favorite pre-game meal is a hoagie.
Sports movie?
Baine: Blindside
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
Baine: Basketball, I’m a huge NBA fan, but I wrestle so I am unable to play another winter sport.
Is a hot dog a sandwich?
