What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
We lost our top RB’s combination of Dudurich and Johnston. They both are furthering their careers at LHU (Dudurich football/ Johnston wrestling). It will be a great challenge to replace their production and leadership. Last year was difficult on the players as they had to learn a new system and terminology. The returning players should be more comfortable in their second season. We are an attack style offense and will always strive to be balanced and consistent in our approach and execution.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
We are very athletic and we have the potential to be bigger and more physical up front. Working together as a unit while playing fast and physical will remain the foundation of our approach. With our roster size we will be playing a lot of underclassman. While this might appear to be a concern it is actually exciting because they are very talented and hungry to do well.
