Why do you play football?

I grew up in a football family and my uncle played in the NFL for 15 years. My dad was my high school coach my whole life. It’s just a big family thing and I have always played.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Winning the district championship. It was definitely the highlight of my career and it was the first time Juniata has done it in 33 years.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Patrick Mahomes because he is so dominant and humble he is just the best athlete on the field.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My parents, because they’ve supported me through everything and have been there every step of the way.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

Pappy Dick, he passed away a few years ago but I look up to him to this day. The way he lived life was almost perfect and everyone knew he was a good guy and made sure someone else had a good day.

What is your desired major in college?

Wildlife Biology or teaching. I would coach where I would teach.

Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?

With the state we’re at, we’ll have a normal season with packed fans. Last year I was just happy to be on the field and this year is gonna feel beyond amazing to be out there.

Favorite play to run?

Roll out passes so I am able to throw or be elusive on my feet and create big runs.

What is your personal goal for this season?

Win another District Championship and win our first state playoff game in history.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Ham and cheese sandwich with water and a banana.

Sports movie?

The Sandlot.

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Lacrosse seems like a pretty cool sport.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

This year in baseball we had a foul ball and I had a chance to get it and I stumbled three times and caught myself and on the fourth stumble, I ate it.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

I would really like this year to go as slow as possible but I am looking forward to competing in all three sports.

Favorite activities?

Hunting and fishing.
