Let’s Get to Know a Little More about Brock:

Why do you play football ?
I play football to better myself and what I do in life. It has helped me learn discipline and has taught me how hard you have to work in life to get what you want. I like to play football with my friends and it has made me appreciate and build stronger bonds with all of them. It is a great opportunity and I can’t wait to play with the boys I started with one last time.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite was always Rob Gronkowski, because I was already amazed at how big he was and what he had accomplished on the field. He was a great athlete and I wish he would have stayed in the league longer because he was so dominant at the tight end position doing everything and anything in his power to win and I wanted to be looked at like that.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play was when we played at River Valley and I put the last hit of the game on an opposing player and had a great hit on him to run the clock out for us to win the game.

What was last year’s season like for you ?
Last year was a decent season. We had our ups and downs during the season, but I thought that we showed that we have great potential for the future.

Who is the best player you have ever lined up against ?
The best player I had lined up against was Max Hill from Penns Manor. He was a great athlete and showed what hard work could get you. He was big, fast, and determined on the field and showed what he could do every game.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would love to visit Penn State during a whiteout game. I feel as though it would be a great experience and rich of adrenalin as they play and the crowd cheers, dances, and sings during the game.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
My favorite NFL team is the New England Patriots. I had always loved watching them ever since I could remember with Tom Brady at quarterback, Rob Gronkowski at tight end, Julian Edelman at wide receiver. They were an unstoppable force and I loved to watch them play every game.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My favorite game to watch from my past would be when I was in the sixth grade and me and my friends had won the championship game. We had a great team when we were little, shutting out every team and dominating all season. We had one touchdown let up on us the entire season and it was in the championship. I like to watch it and remember how much fun it was and how simple the game of football was to us back then. It makes me laugh to remember how little we were. But I still love to watch the dvd of me and my friends playing back then.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
I could watch When The Game Stands Tall. I love that movie, it was such an inspiring movie that showed that even in the hardest times, teammates and friends will always be there to face the adversity and the challenges. That we will always have someone there for us and how we can do anything we want with our friends, family, coaches, and anybody else who will listen and share some wisdom.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to score a punt return this upcoming season. It could happen or it could not happen but I would love to feel the rush of catching a punt and out maneuvering the opponents to score a touchdown for my team.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to play rugby. I would join the Indiana team with my friends but my father won’t allow me to play. I’m hoping next season he will let me but I don’t have high hopes for him to allow me.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
When I fumbled the football my Sophomore season playing Northern Cambria on the opening kick off and gave them the ball. I was so nervous to be kick returning and I fumbled the ball on the opening kick off. I have grown to be more comfortable with catching kicks and have improved since then.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I like to go out and take a nice ride on my dirt bike or side by side and just relax riding through the woods not having to worry about a thing.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, because that’s my go to after a game. It’s quick, easy and they have everything I need to relax and have a bite to eat after a game.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
My favorite was Alaska, because it is so beautiful there with lots of great sights and places to go. The mountains are so beautiful and there are tons of bike trails and hiking trails that you can walk through all day long.

Favorite Band/Musician ?
I like Zach Bryan

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
The NFL, because it had lots of action and it is hard to do because there is so much information and variables that could come into play as the game goes on. It is just an all around hard but fun sport that can go any way possible.

Best Video Game Console(XBox/Playstation/Sega/Atari/etc) and why ?
I like to play XBox for no reason at all, that’s just what my parents had bought me for Christmas, so I like it for no reason other than I can play games and watch YouTube on it.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I would like to achieve my goal of going to college to be a Chiropractor and move to Montana, get a job and have a nice family.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I would like to live in the mountains because they are so big and beautiful with lots of little corners to tuck away in and have a nice and peaceful place to live. Nobody around and my own little piece of land would be a dream for me.
