Coach Franco says “The best combination offensive & defensive lineman I’ve coached” !!

LET’S GET TO KNOW BRADEN

Why do you play football?

My dad got me into it when I was in 2nd grade, and ever since it’s been one of my biggest passions. I love going out and competing, no matter the circumstances, and football offers competition, brotherhood, and the opportunity to flatten someone every play.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?

The atmosphere of the stadium, the competitive nature of the sport, doing my part every play, and just having fun with the guys.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Justin Jefferson, because he is the best player on the Vikings (by far my favorite sports team) and he’s entertaining.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play in pro sports is the Minneapolis Miracle where Stefon Diggs caught the game winning touchdown against the saints in the divisional round. My favorite play of my own was getting a TFL against clear field on 4th down at the end of the game to seal the win for us.

What was last years season like for you?

It was a huge improvement from my sophomore year. I stepped into a leadership role and was considered the best lineman on both sides of the ball. I attained many of my own personal goals, but could’ve had a better year overall as a team.

What are your goals for this coming season?

First and foremost, I want to win a D6 title as a team, and make a run at the state championship. For myself, I want to break both the single season sack record, and the single season TFL record.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Oliver Billotte, Defensive End for Clearfield. He now starts at Kent State for football.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

US Bank stadium for a Minnesota Vikings game.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Minnesota Vikings

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

The 2018 divisional round matchup between the Vikings and Saints was my favorite NFL game. I also love the 2016 NBA finals game 7 between the Cavs and Warriors.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

The Blindside, because it’s a great story and relates to me especially as an Offensive Lineman.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

“COME ON BRADEN” “LETS GO BRADEN”

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Return a kickoff for a touchdown

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

If there is one person in the history of the world I could be more like it would be Jesus. He’s the embodiment of a perfect human. And the king of kings.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

Basketball, but unfortunately I can’t play because I’m already a pretty solid wrestler

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

Losing the match for my team in wrestling in elementary school.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My little sister, because I can always hear her from the stands cheering me on. Also my older cousin DJ who is always texting me, asking to train, and supporting me.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Hanging out with my girlfriend or my friends.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Winning against Penns Valley in 8th grade on a last second touchdown.

What is your favorite play to run?

Counter 14 trap, because I light people up.

What scares you the most?

Failure

Music of choice:

Rap or country

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?

Wii Games, XBOX, and XBOX games

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?

Gourmet Buffet

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Florida

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

I remember the 2012 Super Bowl between the Giants and Patriots
