LET’S GET TO KNOW VICTOR
Why do you play football?
For the memories I get to make, the skills I acquire as a young man and a football player,
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Tom Brady because he was the GOAT and everyone hated him, but he always proved why he was the greatest.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play would have to be the interception in the end zone I made in the 2023 D6 Championship.
What was last years season like for you?
It could’ve been better definitely, but for myself I think it was a learning year that gave me more experience at my position.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Rush for 1000 yards, get at least 5 interceptions, score at least 12 touchdowns, be the IRMC Player of the week again
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Even though it was my own teammate it was Austin Chambers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Purchase Line vs Cambria Heights in the D6 Championship because being there with the older guys as an underclassman and playing along side them was a surreal experience.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
Someone who doesn’t play for their self, they’re humble, work their butt off for their spot, have an edge for the game
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
I think it brings friends and families together apart from football, the community no matter how far games are they’re there supporting the whole team, the energy the community can bring makes games so much more exciting.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Break Purchase Lines all time rushing record.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentor is definitely my cousin because he always does what’s right, always has a plan, and does what he needs at 100% everytime
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite practice drill is the Gauntlet. My least favorite is any tackling drill before actually being able to hit and tackle.
Preseason Two a Days are:
Hard at times but also fun
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
Probably my brother because we play alongside each other but he’s a linemen so when he does his job upfront and see me make a good play he’s always right there hyping me up.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Fishing because it’s relaxing and peaceful, it takes my mind off football or anything else.
What is your favorite play to run?
2 skins right
is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?
No, because it’s one piece of bread
Music of choice:
Rap or Rock
Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?
When John Elick and Jay Robertson begged coach to let me run qb sneak for my first touchdown
Best Pizza topping?
Pepperoni for sure
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Miami, Florida
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
Purchase line vs United in 2017
