Coach says: “Justin wrapped up his junior season with 412 rushing yards on 96 carries and 3 touchdowns, showcasing his strength and consistency out of the backfield. On defense, he added 67 tackles and 2 sacks, proving to be a key contributor on both sides of the ball. Heading into his senior year, Justin will be looked upon to lead a ground-heavy offensive attack while continuing to anchor an experienced and determined defense.

Why do you play football?
I play football because it’s an escape from reality that has given me a whole new sense of family. It has showed me that even if you don’t get along with some of your teammates Monday through Thursday that no matter what you’ll all be there for each other on Friday nights. It has taught me self discipline and teamwork which are skills that will help with the rest of my life. I play it because it build who I am now and who I will be the rest of my life.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
I look forward mostly to feeling the adrenaline rush of running out under those lights with my team again.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
J.J. Watt because he was the first person to make me fall in love with the game at a very young age.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My first rushing touchdown against Homer-Center last year.
What was last years season like for you?
It was an overall good season but I believe I still have a lot to work on and improve heading into my senior season.
What are your goals for this coming season?
I would like to rush for a 1000 years and be in the double digits for touchdowns.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
In summer camp I had to face my teammate Dylan Depp who is the hardest hitting player I have ever faced.
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
DeMeco Ryans
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Nrg Stadium in Houston Texas
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
The Houston Texans
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
When the Texan played the Colt the last week of the 23-24 season to clinch the Afc South because watching rookie CJ Stound was surreal.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
For the love of the game because it reminds me to relax and just enjoy the moment that I’m in
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
That I messed something up.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Play in a state championship game
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad because he taught me everything I know and has always pushed me to do everything I do 100 percent and not to quit when things get hard

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Freshman year I got the yips when I was making my first varsity start as catcher and threw the ball over my pitchers head.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My uncles because they are always there for me if I need to work on something and they are always supportive me after the games.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Fishing because it’s relaxing and reminds me that the big things/fish take time and hard work
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Scoring my first touchdown my Junior year against Homer-Center
What is your favorite play to run?
Belly
What scares you the most?
Letting my teammates and coaches down.

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
My J.J. Watt jersey when I started falling in love with the game just made me fall in love with it more.

The Texans vs Steelers when my dad took me to my first ever Texans game
