Coach Says: Ashten has been an integral part of the Raider Football program since his freshman year. He is an impact player on both sides of the ball and special teams. He led the team last year in all purpose yards and scoring. Ashten will be looked upon for his leadership this year as well as building upon his offensive and defensive success last season. Ashten is a tremendous student in the classroom. He is actively involved in his community.
Why do you play football?
I play football because it is fun and very competitive. It really does take a whole team to be great, and it feels like a family.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Listening to music pregame, or returning the opening kickoff
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Cam Skattebo. He’s not the fastest, or biggest, but he is still the most physical back there is
What was last years season like for you?
We had to overcome a lot of adversity through out the season as a team, I also had to play with a cast limiting me to one hand most of the season.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Win districts again, and hopefully make a good state playoff run.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Ohio state, they’re my favorite team and I would really like to get out for a game.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
New York giants
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Our season opener against Tyrone. We were down, and a lot of people felt like the game was over, but we needed a few plays to rally back and we ended up winning after an onsides kick. I also broke my hand that game and it was a blessing to be able to play through it and come out with a win.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Win a state championship
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I like to play pickleball, go fishing, and go out to eat with my friends
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning districts last year, it was a great game. The most fun rain game ever.

I listen to rap, my favorite rapper is yeat, I also like to listen to country music.
