Why do you play football?
I play football because i love the game. specifically the physicality and the mental toughness of the game. the ups and downs, the next play mentality. I also love being with my guys and taking the field with them knowing they always have my back.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
besides playing the actual game, the feeling when you sitting in the locker room getting ready to go out.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Trent williams, because of is mentality. He always looking to kill someone and win his battle.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My 40 yard scoop and score last year against Harrisburg. It was the first time i was able to score and it launched our comeback to take the game into double OT
What was last years season like for you?
I played both sides of the ball all year and had a great year. we went 10-3 on the year and made to state quarterfinals
What are your goals for this coming season?
To not give up a sack and for the team to go 10-0
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
The best player i’ve ever played against is kevin brown. he was hell of a player with a great motor
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
Bill Bellichick, He done it so many times and somehow always found a way to win when the game was on the line
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
I’ve heard LSU death valley is a cool game day experience
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
The New England patriots
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
state high vs bishop mcdevitt, it was a thriller with lots of excitement.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
remember the titans it’s such a great inspiring and true story.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
let’s go matthew!!
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
catch a touchdown in the back of the endzone.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My father is my mentor. i always look up to him and i know he’s always got my best interest at heart. He will always sacrifice his time to do what’s best for me. He always has my back.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
basketball
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
breaking my ankle during a basketball game.
If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?
BMW series 5. it looks like the best one technically
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
playing spikeball with my friends. It’s a lot of fun and it’s still active!
What is your favorite football memory to date?
the win over bishop mcdevitt my sophomore year. it was great win with lots of excitement. they were a great team but we were able to beat them.
What is your favorite play to run?
GT counter. It a great play and I am able to drive people off the ball

injuries

A tomahawk steak
