Marion Center opened the game with a stout defense, forcing Northern Cambria to three straight three-and-outs. The Stingers capitalized on two drives with field goals. The first, and only, touchdown of the game was halfway through the second quarter. A fading pass of 20 yards to the right side of the endzone with a leaping, diving catch. The kick was good. And the thirteen points was all that was needed to secure a spot in the Semifinal round for the homestanding Marion Center Stingers.
