Penns Valley takes it to the house with a 55-0 win over visiting Everett.

Penns Valley took off and never looked back in this win, winning the coin toss and electing to receive. The Rams would take the opening kickoff on the Everett 47 yard line. Moving the ball down the field, Penns Valley Quarterback Jackson Romig found Logan Crater from 7 yards out for a Penns Valley touchdown. Extra point attempt by Cole Felker was good, with 10:40 left in the 1st quarter, it was Penns Valley 7 Everett 0.

Everett went 3 and out on their first series and Penns valley would be on the move again, but a fumble by Penns Valley’s Jackson Romig gave the ball back to Everett. The Rams defense would push Everetts offense backwards forcing them to punt once again. Penns Valley would take the kick at the 38 yard line. Putting together some pass plays, Romig found John Meyer in the endzone for a 10 yard touchdown. Extra point by Cole Felker was no good, with 3:18 remaining in the 1st quarter, Penns Valley extended their lead to 13-0.

Everett would once again be forced to punt, with Penns Valley getting good field position once again. Romig hit John Meyer on a 23 yard pass play for a Penns Valley score. Extra point was good, with Penns Valley leading 20-0 with 11:51 left in the 2nd quarter.

Penns Valley and Everett woud exchange interceptions with Everetts Gaven Brown being picked off by Penns Valley’s Zach Braucht. Romig would be picked off on the very next play by Everetts Wilson Harman. Penns Valley’s defense once again pushed the Warrior offense backwards forcing them to punt. Neither team could move the ball on their respective series, both going 3 and out.

Then Penns Valley’s Tanner Ilgen a handoff in the backfield racing 16 yards for another Penns Valley touchdown. Extra point was good, with 2:04 left in the 2nd quarter it was Penns Valley 27 Everett 0. The start of the 2nd half would find Everett unable to move the ball, once again punting away. Penns Valley found no trouble in moving the ball all night, with Penns Valley’s Romig finding Ty Watson out of the backfield on a 53 yard touchdown play, extra point was good, with 9:07 left in the 3rd quarter, Penns Valley 34 Everett 0.

Everetts Jacob Price fumbled the kickoff with Penns Valley’s John Meyer recovering on the 21 yard line. Miles Brooks took the toss coming out of the backfield racing 21 yards for a Penns Valley touchdown. Extra point by Cole Felker was good with 8:50 remaining in the 3rd quarter, Penns Valley would extend their lead to 41-0.

Ty Watson scored from 2 yards out and Mason Greene scored from 27 yards out on a quarterback keeper to close out the scoring.

Special win tonight for the Rams on Senior Night, coming of fa tough loss last week to Tyrone. Penns Valley will travel to Philipsburg next week for a non conference game, while Everett will be at home in a non conference game against visiting Meyersdale.
