Penns Valley throttles Mt. Union to advance (Gallery Included)

Penns Valley throttled Mount Union 55-7 to advance in the District 6 Class 2A playoffs. They’ll host rival Bald Eagle Area next Friday night.
Miles Brooks had a 41 yard td pass from Jackson Romig to open the scoring. Bryce Danish ran for 67 yards to tie the game with 10:02 left in the first but that’s as close as the Trojans would get.
Ty Watson scored on a 2 yard run, then hauled in an 85 yard td pass from Romig to open up the game for the Rams.
Romig hit Danin Kerstetter for a 60 yard td, Watson scored on a 19 yard run then Romig hit his fourth td pas of the night to Hunter Lyons from 4 yards out.
Kollin Brungart and Zach Rummel closed out the scoring. In all, the Rams had six touchdowns of 20 yards or more.
