What does your offense need to improve on from last year? |
1. Must be able to run the football with Ryan Angott, David Mowod, and Isaiah Chandler behind offensive line returning 3 starters and both tight ends. 2. Must develop inexperienced but talented group of young receivers. 3. QB has as much experience as anyone on the team with 14 starts. Must protect him develop solid receiving corps around him. We will have to continue to develop our passing game to be successful this season. |
What does your defense need to improve on from last year |
1. Must reconstruct secondary and linebacking corps. 2. Some experience on the DL and OLB group will have to be our foundation against the run. We must stop opposing offenses run game first and foremost. We will also count on this group to provide a pass rush to help young and inexperienced secondary. |
What are your overall thoughts on this years team? |
This team will be fun to coach. There is a lot of excitement as many younger inexperienced players will get their opportunities as will some juniors and seniors who have worked hard for their chance at the Friday Night Lights. Losing 20 plus seniors including 5 college football players is tough – but this team understands the standard and is excited for the season. |
