Why did you choose football?

I mainly chose football because most of my friends had played football for years and also my coach prior to me joining the team had talked to me about coming out so I gave it a try and loved it.

What is your favorite football memory?

My favorite football memory is when we won our first playoff football game this year after our 25 year playoff drought.

What activities do you enjoy outside of football?

Outside of football I like to play soccer, basketball, tennis, and I also am a member of the marching band and concert band at school.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

The non-football accomplishment that I am most proud of is being inducted into the National Honor Society.

Who is your favorite athletes and why?

My favorite athlete is Giannis Antetokounmpo because his athleticism is unmatched.

What has been the most difficult part of offseason training during the pandemic?

The most difficult part of training during the pandemic was not being able to be with the whole team and get after it together.

Who is your biggest role model?

My biggest role models are my parents.

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

My parents are most likely to yell from the stands, “Come on Nate, get your head in the game.” They do it in a loving manner.

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

My personal goals for this season is to keep working on my game and getting better and better day by day. My goals for the team this year is to keep winning games and be WPIAL champs.

What’s one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

One thing that I hope other players can learn from me is to not knock it until you try it and always have an open mind to new things because I never would have thought that I would be the starting varsity kicker.

Favorite sports team?

My favorite sports team is the Penguins.

What are you looking to most this upcoming school year?

I’m looking forward to experiencing my senior year and getting one last opportunity to finish what I started.

What is your Pre-Game Meal?

My pre game meal is always sushi.

Any Superstitions?

My superstition is that I always stretch in the same way, order, and time before every single practice and game.
