Apollo-Ridge has put together back-to-back winning seasons. What will it take to keep the program on the upswing?

Coming off of back-to-back winning seasons I think we will have to remain disciplined and be prepared to go to work every single day.

I watched a lot of your hudl highlights. You run a lot like one of my favorite players from the past (Sam ‘Bam’ Cunningham) and you play linebacker somewhat like former Buckeye Marcus Marek. Meaning you play both with power over finesse. Which side of the ball do you enjoy playing more?

I enjoy playing defense more. Something about being able to dissect the offense’s scheme and blowing it up is really a lot of fun

Do you pattern your game after any play or players?

I don’t think I find myself specifically trying to model myself off of any players. However, one person who I do really admire is Jack Ham.

What are your personal goals for this season?

My personal goals for this season are to make the all-state team.

Which away stadium that you have played in is your favorite?

My favorite away stadium that I’ve played at has to be Beaver Falls’ field. It really makes you feel like you are playing at the collegiate level

What has been the most enjoyable part of playing football?

The most enjoyable part about playing football has to be being part of a team that learns to work together through adversity.

What is your favorite play to have called?

My favorite play to have called is halfback power. I love knowing that I’m going to get the ball right up the gut and battle for yards.

Did players really miss the fans last season?

Players missed the fans very much last year considering that football greatly brings our community together.

Favorite team any sport pro or college?

My favorite team is the Penn State, wrestling team. I love the way they enjoy the process of bettering themselves.

Favorite place to eat out?

The Melting Pot in Pittsburgh.
