Why do you play football?
I just love the sport, the adrenaline, and excitement/nervousness before every snap thrills me as well as to celebrate with my team after a big play or big win no feeling can compare to it

Who is your favorite sports star and why?
My favorite sports star had to be Aaron Donald, he is around the same size as me at 6’’1 284, even with those odds he bulled through college and the nfl becoming one of the greatest defensive linemen ever, going up against people that have a lot more weight and height on himself, getting past them or through them with ease making big plays and leading his team on the defensive side of the ball. He made it known that sizes doesn’t make the game and that people around my size can be great at a higher level

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play I can remember was back in the 2020-2021 season when we were going against blackhawk high school it was a outside coverage play because we knew it was going to be a pass, I quickly broke past the tackle I was up against and shortly got stopped the the blocking running back but I got past him as well, the QB tried to go out of the pocket, but I tracked him down and got my first varsity sack ever.

What are your goals for this coming season?
Having even more tackles and sacks, making all state this year, and to just be the best me

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
The LA Rams or the New Orleans Saints

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game and why?
My favorite game was the 2020-2021 game against south feyette, they have been our rivals for a long time and we have been losing to them in previous season games but we pushed through and fought hard this game that was mostly tied the whole time and won by the game winning field goal

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Either The Blind Side or Greater because they show that no matter who you are, where your from, or where you start at you can be be a great football player.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
They are screaming Let’s go Tay, okay I see your or let’s go it’s tay time

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to run the ball as a running back and see if I can score a touchdown (we’d like to see this too! Coach?)

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentors are my coaches, they have taught be pretty much everything I know football related I am very grateful to have them, but I want to be like Aaron Donald. Well I don’t want to be the next Aaron Donald I want to be the next me the next Tayvon Sherrell but be kind of compared to Aaron

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to play baseball again

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
The first time I got leveled and put on my back in football

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
I would say my girlfriend, she comes to all of my games to support me, cheer me on, and when it comes to football she supports me all the way through with no hesitation or doubt

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I usually go to work because I like to have a little bit of money to spare and to mess with computers and stuff I am really interested in all technology and electrics

What is your favorite football memory to date?
When we went into overtime with Keystone Oaks and us getting the stop we needed to secure the win

What is your favorite play to run?
Pull plays because I get a lot of pancakes and bull through people making big runs for my team

What scares you the most?
That all of my efforts and talent aren’t going to be good enough and are wasted

Music of choice:
Rap or lofi hip hop

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
Anything electrical or technology I have been into new electrical stuff and technology since I was young

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Oryza Asian grill it is sort of like chipotle where you can pick your topping but with Asian style food like rice and such

Definitely Sheetz

What is your favorite vacation destination?
My favorite place I would like to go on vacation to would either be Japan/Tokyo or Hawaii

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
The first football game I fully watched was my high schools youth night game
