LET’S GET TO KNOW NICK

Why do you play football?

I play the game of football because I love the physicality of the sport and the mentality you have to have to want to go out there every day and just grind.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?

On game day I’m most looking forward to walking out hearing the band play, seeing everyone you know from your community there to watch, and especially playing the sport I love with my bestfriends.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

My favorite sport star would be TJ Watt because I’m a die hard Steelers fan and I love the intensity he plays the game with.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play would be against Keystone Oaks my junior year. It was the end of the game and we needed the ball back. They ran it to the outside and I tackled him which forced a fumble that I went and recovered.

What was last years season like for you?

Last year was a big eye opener for me. It was my first full year of football so I feel like last year was just scratching the surface for me and my ability.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My goals are to lead our program to its first ever playoff win and to just go out there give it everything I got in my last year of highschool football.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Beaver Stadium only to experience the crowd on a Penn State game day.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

The Steelers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

The ACC Championship game where Pitt beat Wake Forest. It was a big group of us huddled around in my friends living room going crazy at everything. Watching the fake slide live made even better

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Playing linebacker or running back

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

The person I want to be most like is the person I envision myself to be in 10 years. If I stay driven on the goals in mind, I know I’ll become successful.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

If I’m not training I’m either fishing or golfing with my friends. Both of those things are relaxing for me.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

My favorite memory would be my first ever tackle in a game, which was also a TFL, against Springdale my sophomore.

What is your favorite play to run?

Any type of blitz that we have.

Music of choice:

Nirvana

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?

Applebees and their 2 for $30 three cheese penne. Two orders of that will fill you up.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Any beach
