Coach Kolesar says “Billy is a 4 year starter on our defense. Two years at MLB and two years at DT. He is also a 3 year starting guard. Last year he was first team all-conference DL. He finished the season with 52 tackles, 9TFL, and 5 sacks”.

Why do you play football?

I play because I want to be the best, and make my family proud.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most? 

I’m looking most forward to beating my man! And just playing

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Larry Allen. One of the best ever

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

Beating a double team and sacking TJ’s quarterback on our 2 yard line with 20 some seconds to go. With us up 7

What was last years season like for you?

Last year was probably my favorite season I’ve played so far. It was my first season moving from Linebacker to D-Line, so I really liked the challenge of learning something completely different and excelling at it. And being able to help my team have its most successful season in school history. We didn’t want it to end

What are your goals for this coming season?

To improve at both DL and OL, and help my team to another great season

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Probably my teammate and fellow D-Lineman Brad Smith

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Three Rivers in the 70’s

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Pittsburgh Steelers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

One of mine. Last years TJ game. LH had never beaten them in school history. It was a great close game, and a total team effort. I also was blessed to be named the WMBS player of the game, and we got the win!!

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Remember The Titans

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

Go Billy!!!

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Pick 6! I’ve had picks but never housed one

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My Dad. He coached me up the most in football and in the weight room. And helps and supports me when I need it

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

Skiing

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

Almost grabbing a shanked punt, thinking it was a bad pass from a trick play

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

Probably my Grandpa, he always comes to my games and supports me

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Video games, fishing, hunting and eating lol just nice to unwind sometimes

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Winning the first home playoff game in school history

What is your favorite play to run?

A pull play

What scares you the most?

My family and I not making it into heaven

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Yellowstone Park
