What are not only your personal goals but also the goals you have set for the Knights?

The most important thing to me and to my team is making playoffs and making a run at the ship. All i want to do is win and that is the main goal.

Coming off of a 1-9 season, what did you learn about yourself?

I learned that you have to keep playing every down and every game no matter the outcome and keep trying to give your team a chance no matter what and to not even look at the score board.

How important is it for you guys to kick this season off with a win?

It is crucial to our team. It’s crucial to us because with a win it shows that there is a new Norwin here this year and that we are ready to shock people.

What has been your biggest achievement as an athlete?

Being able to go to a D1 school on full scholarship, which has been a dream of mine ever since i was young.

Which position do you feel you are best at, and what makes you so good at it?

I feel that i am best at safety. What makes me so good at safety is that my natural feel for the position, my physicality, and my ball skills.

What must you improve on the most to take your game to a more dominant level?

I think the little things are the most important things that everyone can improve on. so i think i can say confidently that in order to become more dominant is to work on my footwork and technique as a DB.

If the coach tells you to call a play, what play are you calling along with the reason you called it?

Definitely calling a post back side. I would like to call this because it’s a big play and it can make a huge swing in momentum for a team and is just a great way to get on the board.

What has been the best advice you have ever been given when it comes to sports, along with the person who gave you the advice?

I think the best advice that has ever been given to me when it comes to sports is to put ur head down and block out all the noise. There is always going to people hating and telling you that you can’t do something and you have to block that out and just grind.

Do you feel that you and your teammates lm are role models to the younger kids who come and watch you play?

Yes, because i know how i saw the varsity starters when i was their age, and that’s why it’s so important to act as a role model.

With this being your final high school season, have you approached things any differently?

To just enjoy everything while you can and not take the little things and moments for granted.

What would it mean to you to have earned an invite to the Bigg-33 game or the East vs. West game?

It would mean a ton to me because it has been a goal of mine since i was a freshman in high school and is not just handed to anyone.
