Why do you play football?

It’s the ultimate team sport that can bond a group of guys together. It’s fun to play and I enjoy every moment.

Opening kickoff

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Cameron Heyward for what he does on and off the field and how he carries himself and elevates the guys around him.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My first varsity tackle my freshman year on a kickoff accompanied with a forced fumble. I was so excited and it just proved to myself that I could make it.

What was last years season like for you?

It was a great year as a team winning 11 games like we did but we have higher expectations because of it and that won’t be enough for us this year.

What are your goals for this coming season?

WPIAL and State Championship

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Kyle Lenhart (Shenango) & Liam Halligan (Seton Lasalle)

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Acrisure Stadium

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Pittsburgh Steelers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Steelers vs Ravens Sunday Night last season on New Year’s Day. It was a hype game prime time on the road with a great ending and a great way to start the year

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Rocky IV (for the training montage)

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Score a Defensive Touchdown

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My teacher Mr. McCoy because he’s just a really great guy.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

Hockey

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

Forgetting my helmet at an away game last year and having to wear one with no decals. (had my career high tackles that night too)

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Driving, listening to music, or chilling. Just clears my head and it’s fun to slow down and look around a little bit at the world around us

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Winning on the road on the last game of the regular season sophomore and Junior years clinching home field for 1st round playoffs

What is your favorite play to run?

Short yardage run plays

What scares you the most?
