Why do you play football?

I got thrown into football as a kid and wasn’t really the best athlete wasn’t really known. But I always knew I should be better than these kids around me. As I grew into football and understood it I took it like a job and trained non stop because I knew what I could be. Coming into high school I lost my great gramma and she’s been my rock. Now going into my senior year I got the news that I might lose my other gramma. That hit me and I didn’t know how I’d take it but it just gave me a greater why. So I play football for them because I know they’d be proud of me and how far i’ve come.

That pre game meal!

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

My favorite star is Christian Gonzalez. I’ve built myself into a DB and started watching how he plays and trains and it’s really helped throughout my journey.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

Any play I’m getting the ball or doing a corner edge blitz.

What was last years season like for you?

Last year went solid for me. I had very strong numbers on both defense and offense. I feel as a team we’re all coming back 10x harder w a chip on our shoulder knowing it’s our last year to make a name for this program.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My goal is to lead my team to wpial championship. I want to have 0 td let up and 0 catches let up to my side. I want to get my head in the trenches a little more so I wanna get more tackles. Offensively my main goal is whenever I get the ball I need 5 yards or more. No turnovers.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

I’d give my credit to Zach from Pcc. He’s a tough player and is fast and aggressive. Hes always been my toughest matchup when it comes down to it.

When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play? 

UNC Bill Belichick

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I’ve always wanted to experience a Penn State whiteout.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Patriots.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Pats v Seahawks. This was my favorite game because I got to watch my favorite player match up with JSN and I learned a lot from that.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Last Chance U. It really puts it in perspective on how serious the game is regardless of the level you’re playing at. There’s dawgs at every level.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

My parents are laid back so I couldn’t even tell you what they’d say. They don’t say much but If i’m on the ground for to long you’d probably here my mom running down the bleachers.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

I wanna hurdle like 3 people in one play because why not.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

I’d say my mentor is my older brother, Bryan. He broke a couple records at Canon Mac and was a tough player. He’s taught me so much about life and the game of football. He’s always been there for me and I’ve always been there for him no matter what. He’s always making sure my heads on straight and that i’m keeping the main thing the main thing.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

Baseball. I can’t hit that ball for some reason.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

I’d say playing peters twnsp We were in like 3rd-4th grade and I kept getting lined up with this kid from peters. He was dogging me the whole game in-front of everybody. He had to of been like 6’1 in 4th grade.

If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Rolls royce phantom

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Golfing / Cornhole.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Back during our little league days we had a practice right after a storm just hit and half the practice we would do tackling drills right into this big mud puddle. That was the best time of my life.

What is your favorite play to run?

I love counters. Anything counter back. On defense I like cover 2 or man.

What scares you the most?

Drowning : Heights

Rap.

What is the most food you ever ate in one sitting?

I had like 7 plates last thanksgiving.

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?

Cockys Coop – Canonsburgh.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Cancun

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

Watching my brother play his junior year. They played Baldwin and he broke the rushing record and yards in a game. October 2015
