Elizabeth Forward (5-0, 4-0) Zach Benedek, who is a double threat as a quarterback had a good night going
10 of 19 through the air for 147 yards and a touchdown, carried 20 times for 129 yards and a touchdown. He had a long 84 yard scored called back, after a flag was thrown on his team.
Benedek also had a fantastic play on defense when he, tipped a screen pass that ended up going to his teammate linebacker Robert Buchina, who took it 7 yards to the house,for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead just 1:40 into the game.
For Derry Area(5-1, 3-1) going 1-5 on fourth down tries, pretty much sums up their night, along with two block punts.
Adding to that stat is Elizabeth Forward scored two first-half touchdowns right after getting fourth down stops.
