Pleasant to the ball to start the second half and on third down a very crucial play occurred Drew Ross scored on a 42 yard pick six to make the score 31-14 Freeport with 10:59 in the third quarter. “They ran the same play a few plays before, so I kind of figured they would drop to the flats and there it was, and then I turned up field and Bryson Paga made a big block” said Ross.

In the third quarter Mt. Pleasant had their opportunities. Their second drive started at their own 28 yard line. It was a long drive and Mt. Pleasant got inside the Freeport 10 yard line. Unfortunately the drive stalled on penalties and they attempted a field goal which was no good and the score remained 31-14 Freeport.

Pleasant they started in Freeport territory but they were unable to move the ball and they decided to go for it on fourth down which was unsuccessful and they turned the ball over on downs.
