Written by: on Sunday, June 21st, 2020

Montour cornerback Jaiden Hill didn’t have a pile of offers, and quite frankly the speedy cornerback probably could have pulled in a few more with time. But it  didn’t matter. Once that Liberty offer came rolling in, he knew where he was heading.

Today on twitter Jaiden announced his intention to head to Liberty:

PFN talked to Jaiden about his decision:

PFN: How long have you played football?

Jaiden: Since 3rd grade about 9 years

PFN: Why did you choose to commit to the The Flames?

Jaiden: Seemed to me like the best decision to make at this point in my life

PFN: Why commit early?

Jaiden: I didn’t want to have to worry about it during the season

PFN: Who was your biggest influence at Liberty, who recruited you?

Jaiden: Definitely coach Hunley the corners coach and coach Austin the quarterbacks coach they both gave nothing but respect and loyalty to me since they first heard about me

PFN: What are they getting in player like you?

Jaiden: A playmaker who’s going to show up everyday n want the best of the best at the line day in and day out

PFN: What was the recruiting process like for you?

Jaiden: It was cool showed me a lot about how it all works

PFN: How did the Covid 19 pandemic affect your decision?

Jaiden: It didn’t I would’ve made the same decision most likely

PFN: What position were you recruited for?

Jaiden: Corner

PFN: Do you know what you’d like to study?

Jaiden: No clue really but if I had to chose business or physiology

PFN: What role did your parents play in your decision?

Jaiden: A big one but they told me this was my decision and I ran with it

PFN: What do you think is the most exciting thing about the Liberty program?

Jaiden: We’re up and coming 2 years on the scene and we’ve already won a bowl game it’s gonna get scary real quick

PFN: What are you most looking forward to while playing for the Flames?

Jaiden: Just really seeing what everybody’s about, seeing if they real or not

PFN: Who is the person who most influenced you in your football career?

Jaiden: My brother(Justin) he was a dog in high school n it always put a chip on my shoulder to be better than him

PFN: What is it you’d like all your high school teammates and fans to know about your decision that you might have a hard time saying in person?
