On October 20th, North Allegheny defeated Penn Trafford in dominant fashion by a score of 48-14.

Penn Trafford started out hot by forcing North Allegheny to punt on their first drive and then blocking that punt.

Following the blocked punt, Penn Trafford RB Ben Grabowski ran for a score out of the wildcat formation giving the Warriors the lead.

North Allegheny went on to finish the first quarter by scoring touchdowns on their next two drives. The first came from a TE sweep run by Daniel Sellers. The second came from Senior Tyree Alualu to give the Tigers the lead heading into the second quarter leading the Warriors 13-7.

The second quarter would only contain one score, again from Alualu, running 50 yards this time for the touchdown. The score at half had the Tigers leading the Warriors 20-7.

North Allegheny began to pull away late in the third quarter after two unanswered rushing touchdowns from Senior QB Logan Kushner.

The first was snuck in from the 1 yard line. The second was run in from 15 yards out, making the score 34-7 in favor of the Tigers at the end of the third quarter.

Tyree Alualu finished his night by punching in his third touchdown, this time on an interception returned for 6.  That made the score 40-6.

The Tigers forced another interception on the next drive and returned that one into the red zone, which was then run in by backup quarterback Jackson Falila to make the lead 48-7.

Penn Trafford added a late touchdown, but it was too late because the time ran out and North Allegheny ended up winning 48-14.

Tyree Alualu totalled 3 touchdowns, 2 on the ground and one on the defensive side of the ball. In other words, he dominated. “We stuck to the game plan and ended up dominating like we always do”, Alualu said.

North Allegheny improves to 8-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play. While Penn Trafford falls to 4-5 overall and 3-1 in conference. The Tigers in the regular season finale will play Seneca Valley on the road while the Warriors will be on the road as well against Franklin Regional.
