
Peters Townships’ Reston Lehman Commits to Pitt

On Saturday afternoon Reston Lehman announced his commit to the University of Pittsburgh to continue his football career. Lehman, a 6’4, 230-pound linebacker for Peters Township High School is a four-star edge and is the ranked the 25th best linebacker in United States for the class of 2026.
Lehman, who will graduate in 2026, was an important member of the Peters Township team that placed second at WPIALs last season has he secured 3 touchdowns with over 140 yards. On the defensive end Lehman was credited for 22 tackles with three sacks last season.
Lehman had 32 offers including Miami Ohio, Akron, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Boston College, Penn State, West Virginia, University of Maryland, University of Nebraska, University of Minnesota, Toledo, University of Wisconsin, University of Cincinnati, Ohio University, UCLA, Syracuse, Purdue, JMU, Wake Forest and UNC.
With this commitment Lehman becomes the third WPIAL commit to Pitt this weekend as North Allegheny’s Lincoln Hoke and Pine-Richland’s John Curran both announced their verbal commits yesterday.
