Pennsylvania Football News and Three Rivers Broadcasting are proud to announce their collaborative effort to cover High School Football during the 2021 season.

The State of PA Football, hosted by PAFootballNews.com owner Billy Splain, will air each week on Three Rivers Broadcasting and Billy will be providing regular updates as a guest on the Pittsburgh Sports Report throughout the season.

Three Rivers Broadcasting will be providing play by play coverage of over a dozen Pittsburgh City League contests on their internet station at www.threeriversbroadcasting.com with links to the broadcasts to be provided by PA Football News on its social media accounts.

Three Rivers Broadcasting staff will also be providing weekly previews, post-game articles and photographs for PAFootballNews.com as part of a continued partnership between the two growing organizations.

About the TRB Staff:

Alex Fydryszewski will continue his role as lead reporter of in-season coverage of the Pittsburgh City League for PA Football News and will be the play-by-play announcer for Three Rivers Broadcasting.

He will be joined at Cupples Stadium by Andrew Kurzawski, Three Rivers Broadcasting Sports Director, who will provide color commentary and capture photos for Pennsylvania Football News. Andrew has worked tirelessly to expand the sporting arm of the station and has his family roots not far from Carson Street.

Jordan Yaniga will conduct video interviews with coaches and players during the broadcasts for use on Three Rivers Broadcasting and PAFootballNews. She will additionally attend practices and gather additional content to be promoted on both entities.

Additional staff are being added for game days and will be announced as they join the reporting team.

Advertising slots are still available for both entities coverage of the City League and interested parties may contact Alex or Billy to discuss these opportunities.

What They’re Saying:

“After working with Billy last year to cover the City League, it was a natural next step to bring our organizations closer in 2021. To be able to provide Billy an additional platform to air “The STATE of Pennsylvania Football is a major benefit to his operation and also brings us a highly respected radio program which covers the pulse of Pennsylvania High School Football. To be able to expand upon the coverage of the City League from 2020 by having our live radio broadcasts promoted by the PAFootballNews.com network allows us to have a massive reach to promote the youths of the city and now affords Pennsylvania Football News a wall-to-wall, full service media operation of City League coverage. The City League is on the rise, and a PAFN-TRB collaboration will be the premier sources for all things Pittsburgh City League. We are excited about the new season and opportunity to cross-promote with Billy and his incredible team. ” –Alex Fydryszewski, Owner, Three Rivers Broadcasting

“Three Rivers Broadcasting is always looking to fill gaps for schools, leagues & individuals who don’t receive the media attention they deserve. Our partnership with the Pittsburgh City League accomplishes this goal. By combining the resources of PA Football New & the TRB staff we are confident that this years coverage of the City League will be one that players, coaches and fans will be proud of.”- Andrew Kurzawski, Sports Director, Three Rivers Broadcasting.

“It’s a natural fit for PAFootballNews.com” said site owner Billy Splain. “We’ve been working with Alex and his crew since before the started TRB. They’ve provided great coverage of City League football and we look forward to continuing that relationship.”
