Any team goals for the upcoming 2020 football season: Our goal is to win each week, one week at a time. Right now we are focused on AcValley/Union.
If you are goal-oriented, your personal goals for the season: To lead the team as a person/player on and off the field and to win a championship.
How has football helped you in the game of life: Football has helped me grow as a person. It has helped me gain mental toughness and always focus on the next thing in life, not the things that have already happened.
Your biggest role model and why: My biggest role model is my oldest brother, Jack. He has helped me grow as a person and always taught me to chase after my goals with 100% effort even when things are not in my favor.
Words of wisdom/advice for the kids in the youth or midget program: Keep playing football and working hard even if you think you’re not big or strong enough!
Favorite athlete(s) and why: Ichiro – he was more focused on getting base hits rather than hitting home runs and once said, “I’d rather impress the chicks with my technique than with my brute strength”.
