Jimmy Kerr was only a sophomore last year but he anchored a line that went 10-2 last year, gaining almost 2,000 yards on the ground. Head Coach Davey Eggleton is excited to see what his young lineman can do this year. “Jimmy was our best offensive lineman last year as a sophomore. He made all conference Offensive Lineman. He is a big strong kid who loves to finish blocks.”

Why do you play football?
I have always had a love for football and a desire to compete at the highest level. I spend hours practicing and watching games, and that passion has only strengthened over time. I have dedicated myself to improving my skills and understanding of the game, and I believe I have the talent and drive to succeed at the highest level
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Trent Williams O-tackle for the San Francisco 49ers he is my favorite player I strive to be like him he’s one of the best tackles in the league, having made 10 pro bowls and 3 all-pro teams
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
ISO towards the end of the Moniteau game where I pancaked a linebacker
What was last years season like for you?
Very great. We had an all around strong and healthy team and being so young, only a sophomore, that gives me all the motivation in the world for the upcoming seasons.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Being a district champ again. Not letting up any sacks
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
# 71 from st. Mary’s strong athletic kid we went back and forth the whole game
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Penn state University
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
The Pitt vs duke game was good very competitive and really fun to watch
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
I’d have to say either of my lineman coaches. Coach knepp or coach hindman they both are great and are both beey good coaches and they both play a big role in my life on and off the football field

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
When I tripped over Dawson Smail in the westing house game trying to tackle the running back
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My brother definitely he is always pushing me and wanted me to be the best version of myself
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Fishing definitely it’s very peaceful and I fish with my brother so we have a good time
What is your favorite football memory to date?
When I pancaked both the d-end and the d-tackle at the same time in the st Mary’s game
What is your favorite play to run?
Buck sweep where I block down and destroy the d tackle
What scares you the most?
Failure

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
I’d say my first “gun” it was a red rider BB gun when I was little
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Texas road house especially those rolls I could eat about 50
