Why do you play football?

I play football simply because the sport brings me a lot of joy and makes me very disciplined. It is something that I can work on every day to get better and I have fun doing it. There’s also no better feeling than playing in front of the Friday night lights crowd.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

My favorite sports star has to be Josh Allen because of his selfless leadership he brings to the Bills. He also had to work to get himself looks at the division 1 level and he did what he had to do to get there.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

One of my favorite plays of my own to go back and watch was against DuBois when I had to make a shovel pass to the flat for Beau Thomas. I love watching it because I just remember not really thinking about what I was doing but just going out and doing it freely like I was in my backyard.

What was last years season like for you?

Last years season was amazing and gave me a whole new version of myself. It created more drive for me to get better in the offseason and just made me want it more.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Win games beyond the district championship. Winning a district championship has become an expectation for the year rather than a goal. Personally, a goal I have is to throw for over 2,000 yards and run for an additional 750.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

The best player I have lined up against has to be Landon Peterson from Punxsy. He graduated in 2023 and I’ve only lined up against him in practice, but when I did he kicked me around and it showed me what varsity football was really going to be like.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Even though I have been there, Beaver Stadium never gets old.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. I’ve been a fan of both my whole life.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

I’ll always remember the 2018 Penn State vs Ohio State game as being one of my favorites. Even though Penn State didn’t win it was a fantastic game to be able to watch until the very end and is always a huge rivalry game.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

The perfect teammate consists of someone who is willing to simply do what’s best for the team. Someone that will make people around him better and not complain about everyone else’s mistake.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Football brings a community together and gives everyone a mutual interest when cheering for your home town. Another thing football creates is a brotherhood between players and even coaches. By the end of the season we have created such great bonds and will continue to do more and more for our teammates. Everyone ends the season feeling so much closer than they did at the start.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

I would love to have a receiving touchdown rather than passing.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

Someone I can look at as a mentor is Tom Brady. He of course is the best to ever play football and he did it through hard work. He was not always the most talented guy by any means but he worked harder than almost any and became successful because of it.

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

My favorite practice drill is probably just 1 on 1s. It does not get much more fun than getting one route in man coverage to throw. My least favorite practice drill has to just be conditioning. My coaches are pretty strict about our conditioning so no matter how much I know and agree that it makes us better, I’ll never enjoy it.

Preseason Two a Days are:

Hard on the body, but also a great time to create relationships with teammates and see who has been working in the offseason.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My grandparents are most definitely my biggest fans. They show up to every game no matter how far away and always talk to me right after.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

I enjoy golfing and just hanging by a fire with my friends. I always try to value my time as a high schooler.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

My favorite football memory has to be getting my first start sophomore year. We won the game and I will always remember how great that bus ride home was.

What is your favorite play to run?

My favorite play has to be the flea flicker. It gives me the perfect opportunity to throw the ball as far as I can, and more often than not ends in a touchdown.

is a hot dog a sandwich?

Absolutely not.

Music of choice:

Country. I’m from Western Pa so it’s pretty common around here.

Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?

Any compliment or just comment about my leadership or work ethic is a great feeling to get from a teammate.

Best Pizza topping?

Just pepperoni

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa

Sheetz by a mile

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Outer Banks

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

My older brother’s first game when he was in about 4th grade.
