Stanton Buffaloes v. Grape Creek Eagles
Buffalo Stadium, Stanton, TX
In a game with struggling offenses, the lone score came in the second quarter on a 4 yard run. A two point pass accompanied it. And that was all the Stanton Buffaloes would need to win the first game of the season, 8-0. Sloppy play, turnovers, a bevy of penalties, and a strong reliance on running the ball made for quick work of the evening on both sides.
