Shadyside Tigers overcame a first half slump that saw them trail 7-0, by scoring a two-yard TD run in the third, and a 23 yard field goal on the first play of the fourth quarter to take a 9-7 lead. Then the running game got going, and secured an 85 and 24 yard touchdown runs to put the game away. It was homecoming for the Tigers, with an extended halftime. The extra time to plot out their course seemed to work as they were a different team coming out of the break.
