Oil City will take on Aliquippa tonight at Slippery Rock University in the PIAA 4A regional semi finals with kickoff slated for 7 PM this Friday night.

Aliquippa is coming off a 4A WPIAL Championship win against McKeesport last weekend, 21-12, propelled by a game sealing touchdown from QB Marques Council connecting with Qalil Good on 4th down late in the game. Council finished with two passing touchdowns and 123 yards while adding 47 yards and a score on the ground.

Oil City handily defeated Punxsutawney 47-14 behind a dominant ground performance from Steven Heise, racking up four touchdowns and 125 rushing yards, adding two interceptions to help seal the deal on defense. This will be a tale of two powerhouse programs and one you don’t want to miss.
