Zykee Scott a budding 6-2 230lb stud linebacker at defending PIAA 6A champ La Salle College Tuesday evening announced his commitment to The University of North Carolina. As a junior at La Salle Zykee racked up 58 tackles, 1 forced and recovered fumble and 6 tackles for loss in 10 games. Due to transfer rules he was ineligible for PIAA playoff games. Zykee ultimately settled on UNC over blue-blood programs like Oregon, Penn State, Colorado, Georgia Tech Tennessee and Pittsburgh. After winning a state title at Imhotep Charter as a freshman Zykee has a shot to win 3 state titles in his high school career if La Salle can repeat.
