Lewisville wide receiver Jaylin Douglas got the Friday night game started on a screen pass for a touchdown. The PAT was good, and Lewisville led 7-0 after one quarter. Douglas hauled in a 27-yard touchdown early in the second, and running back AJ Price added a 2-yard score. Lewisville led 19-0 until Blacksburg wide receiver Jacob Gattling caught a 15-yard touchdown with 1:39 left in the half, and the Wildcats trailed 19-6 at the break.
The third quarter belonged to Lewisville. Wide receiver/cornerback Cedric Spence took the second-half opening kickoff back for a touchdown, and the two-point conversion made it 27-6. Moments later, the Lewisville defense scooped up a loose ball and scored, and another good two-point try pushed the lead to 35-6. Blacksburg running back Trevon Clark answered with a 4-yard touchdown and a successful conversion to cut the deficit to 35-14, but Price ripped off a 25-yard touchdown run with 2:24 left in the quarter to make it 41-14.
Blacksburg kept fighting in the fourth. Clark took a handoff in from four yards out for his second score, making it 41-20 with 11:24 to play. Price then punched in his third touchdown of the night with 3:33 remaining, and the PAT sealed the 48-20 final.
