Loyalsocks offense explodes against Central Columbia for a comfortable win

The Loyalsock Lancers and Central Columbia Bluejays kickoff their 2026 seasons in Bluejay Stadium. Both looking for a 1-0 start to the new season.

Starting off in the 1st quarter #1 Ivan Baker starts off with a 3 yd touchdown run for the Lancer to make a early 7-0 lead. Following that #7 Dyson Dupont takes a Qb draw for a easy touchdown but the extra point is no good to make the score 13-0.

Starting off in the 2nd quarter the Bluejays respond with a 16 yard touchdown run by #9 Dominic keller to make the score 13-7. Ivan Baker a few plays later breaks off a 71 yard touchdown but the extra point is blocked to make the score 19-7. Next drive the BlueJays fumble leading to a Dyson Dupont 18 yard touchdown run for his second touchdown. Dyson Dupont puts on more touchdown before half with a deep ball to Carter Brown to make a commanding 33-7 lead into the half.

Things in to second half slowed down but with 6:05 left Loyalsocks Cayden Sones breaks a long run for the only Touchdown in the 3rd making the score 40-7 into the 4th.

In the 4th Domimic Keller scores a walk in goaline touchdown followed by a Loyalsock rushing touchdown to make the final score 47-14.

There are a lot of takeaways from this game for both sides. Lancers looked strong and could very well make a playoff push this season. The story of the night for the BlueJays were injury and health. Throughout the game, player for them kept going down and they need to stay healthy to win some football games.
