On Friday night in central Nebraska, two teams played out the ends of their season. The Gibbon Buffaloes hosted the Superior Wildcats on a cool night that transitioned to a heavy mist and fog as the night rolled on. Superior made the 90+ mile drive, hoping to win and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Gibbon, with a single win over Gordon-Rushville, was looking to end the season on a high note.
