What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
We need to be more consistent. To do that, we need to stay healthy. I we can, we should be able to move the football well. This is the most talented group of skill kids that I have had in my 8 years at GA. Our OL will be young, but what they may lack in experience, they will make up with athleticism. It should be a fun group to watch grow and develop together.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
We need to stop the run more consistently. We did that well when we won the Inter-Ac championship (shared with MP) in 2016. The last 2 seasons have seen a drop off from the ability to be consistent run stoppers. If we get back to that form, we should be a solid defensive unit.
What are your overall thoughts on this years team?
I really like our kids. We have had good numbers for our summer training programs. We have also been a tough matchup for teams in our pass game leagues. It is still way to early to give accurate thoughts on what we can be but I think this team is off to a good start.
