LET’S GET TO KNOW TRISTAN
Why do you play football?
There’s no better game out there. Nothing like getting to go to war with your brothers. The speed, competitiveness, contact, mentality, results from hard work, highs and lows makes it all worth while.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
First big hit
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Jerry Kapp, home town hero. Brian Dawkins favorite player because of his mentality.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Getting my first interception back when I played for boyertown. I was real young and playing with my brother and all his friends that were seniors that I also grew up with. I earned a starting spot at CB and got my first pick and will never forget how happy I was, they were, and the rest of the friends/family/town was in the stands and sideline.
What was last years season like for you?
It had its ups and downs. As a team I expected more out of the group we had. I think I stepped up a lot on the offensive side of the ball and also preformed well on defense. I think I have made a lot of improvements and can’t wait for senior season.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Obviously, I have many personal goals for the season but my focus is stepping up as a leader for all the younger kids on the team. I’m a senior this year and it will be my 4th year starting on varsity between boyertown and hill. I think I have a lot of experience and knowledge to share, especially for all the younger kids who’s nerves might be going that have a chance to have an impact on the team
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Kamar Archie. 6’3 230 4 star. It’s a good experience getting to play the Hun school. They’re loaded with d1 commits. I feel playing them resembles what a college team would look like size and speed wise.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Lincoln financial field. The energy is different between the music and the fans
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Philadelphia Eagles, go birds
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My parents took me and my brother to an eagles game. It was my first time at a professional game and there was nothing like it
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Pick 6, receiving touchdown, punt return touchdown, kick return touchdown all in the same game
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad, great athlete and former football player, great dude, been through it all, toughest person I know
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Love spending time with family and friends. It keeps a smile on my face
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning our lawrenceville Hill rivalry game with all the boys
What is your favorite play to run?
Probably a deep ball from Charlie(QB). He’s got a great arm and we got great chemistry.
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Anywhere with good wings and burgers.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
The OBX. It’s our family trip and we have a great time.
