Coach Says: Rohan is a four-year starter and someone who has gotten better each season. He has great balls skills as a WR and has the speed to be a top-level deep threat. Has played CB for us all four seasons and play a ton of man to his side of the field.
Why do you play football?
It’s one of the few things I’m overly passionate about. And being a smaller guy, I want to prove that I am capable of competing at a high level.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Devonta Smith. He’s an undersized guy just like me who broke every narrative with his career. Everyone doubted him in high school and now he is one of the best WRs in the NFL, that is inspiring to me.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Screen pass TD @ Episcopal Academy. Even though we were at EA, a lot of kids from Hill traveled to watch the game. I think most of our fans were expecting us to lose pretty bad so when I scored our first points of the game our section went crazy. Nothing beats that feeling.
What was last years season like for you?
Nothing but fuel for this upcoming season.
What are your goals for this coming season?
We have a lot of new guys coming in so I want to be a leader for them. I want to score a touchdown for each game and have at least 500 yds.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
This RB from the Hun School who committed to Rutgers.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Super Bowl LII for obvious reasons
Describe what the perfect teammate is
Someone who can bring the whole team together and hold people accountable while still being respected.
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
It’s the ultimate team sport and it teaches you how to get up and keep going after being knocked down.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Kick a game winning field goal.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad, he is someone who came from nothing and became so driven to be a successful person.
Preseason Two a Days are:
The best
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I love getting food with my friends, photography, and studying so I can get into a good college.
What is your favorite play to run?
Anything where I’m taking it deep
is a hot dog a sandwich?
I guess
Music of choice:
Alternative rock is slept on in the football community.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Iceland
