Calumet played with only 13 players dressed in this one as they had five out with injuries and a two-way lineman suspended from a previous game. Those kids playing for the Patriots never quit they simply were outmanned and out-talented in this contest. I love how the fans for them always found something positive to cheer loudly for them. In victory, the Eagles showed a lot of class and sportsmanship throughout the entire contest which says a lot about their leadership.

The scoring started with Julianye Johnson blocking a punt that resulted in a safety to give us a 2-0 Eagles lead with 10:25 left in the opening quarter. A 43-yard pass from Cy Thompson to Davey Robinson made the score 8-0 game. Robinson really looked like an NFL player playing against high school kids in this one as he was able to do as he wanted all throughout this game. The final score in the opening period came on a 9-yard run from Braylon Bailey making the new score 14-0.

The Eagles would add four more scores before halftime. Scoring first was Joe Kirby on a 1-yard run where his offensive line blew off of the ball allowing for the easy score. A 46-yard pass from Thompson to Robinson made this a 26-0 game. On the two-point conversion try Christian Fuentes made a nice pick. Baily added another 1-yard score that was followed by a Thompson to #4, not on the roster with a two-point conversion run by Jacere Sharp making the score 40-0.

There was just one score in the final half as the running clock kept the Eagles from doing more damage, the score was a 1-yard run by Sharp to give us our final 46-0 score
