Thursday night, Heartland Lutheran hosted Dorchester in Grand Island, Nebraska. Playing 6-man football, the two teams represent two very small schools in the state. Heartland Lutheran, a small private school from a small city in central Nebraska, and Dorchester, a small public school from the small town of Dorchester, southwest of Lincoln.
Early on, Dorchester had jumped out to a 22-8 lead. Before relinquishing it, 24-22 late in the first half. Heartland Lutheran wins, 42-28 after a dominating second half.
