New York: Salamanca Wins 11th Section VI Title in 40-14 Romp Over Portville

In the rain under the bright lights of Highmark Stadium, Salamanca stood victorious for their 11th Section VI Championship in a 40-14 win over Portville. In the first half, Maddox Issac opened the scoring on an 18 yard run. Trailing 7-0, Maxx DeYoe scored for Portville on a 3 yard run. But the conversion attempt was unsuccessful.

Later in the second, Salamanca’s Xavier Peters scored from 19 yards out with another missed PAT, to lead 13-6. Maddox Isaac extended the Warriors lead on a sideline to sideline cutback 52-yard touchdown run. Taking a 19-6 lead into halftime, Salamanca added three second half scores to win, 40-14.
