Temple racked up eight commits in the last eight days, adding the bulk of their 2027 recruiting class so far.
Here’s a recap of all the Owls’ recruiting action over the past week.
(6/10) Jakari Graham, WR, Not Rated, Springfield, VA, The St. James, 6’2/185
Temple beat out 14 other schools to land Graham, a DMV product who garnered heavy interest from ACC programs such as Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.
Graham, who spent the first three seasons of his high school career at Bell High School in Washington, D.C., visited Temple back on June 5 before pledging to the Owls just five days later.
The versatile Graham was first listed positionally as an “Athlete” during his commitment, but committed as a receiver to Temple after pulling in 523 yards and six scores last season. Graham also produced a touchdown on the ground and recorded five interceptions on defense. To top it all off, Graham threw 14 touchdowns to just one interception during his sophomore season when he spent time at quarterback for the Griffins.
(6/10) Kevin Nesbitt, IOL, 3-Star, Hyattsville, MD, DeMatha Catholic, 6’6/315
Nesbitt joined Graham on the 10th as the first offensive lineman to commit to North Broad in the 2027 cycle for the Owls.
The 6-foot-6 behemoth from DeMatha Catholic currently stands as a three-star commit and worked out with the Owls back on June 8 following a weekend visit from the 5th-7th.
The All-WCAC recipient also held offers from Toledo, USF, and Oregon State, among others.
(6/12) Ethan Dempsey, WR, Not Rated, Charlotte, NC, Providence Day School, 6’3/200
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, out of the esteemed Providence Day School, Dempsey comes as a two-trick product, with potential to work in kick return situations for the Owls, alongside working into the receiver rotation.
Dempsey pledged his commitment to the Owls following his visit to North Broad on June 5-7.
He also held offers from the likes of NC A&T, Charlotte, Richmond, Fordham, and Elon, among others, and also maintained strong ties with East Carolina before ultimately making the decision to commit to Temple.
(6/14) Amara Dolleh, Edge, Not Rated, Camden, NJ, Eastside, 6’3/230
A local product from Camden, Amara Dolleh became a highly touted name in South Jersey, and the Owls, with their seeming monopoly over the region, were quick to swoop in and claim him among 17 other offers.
Dolleh visited Temple from June 12-14, capping off a stretch of Division I camps the Eastside product attended. Dolleh held offers from Stony Brook, Maine, Wagner, and others, but ultimately chose the Owls after what appeared to be a very convincing visit.
(6/14) Caleb Saint Fleur, Edge, 3-Star, Hollywood, FL, McArthur, 6’2/244
Rated a four-star prospect by ESPN, Saint Fleur committed to Temple as the No. 35 player in the state of Florida and the No. 34 edge rusher in the nation.
Hailing from McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida, Saint Fleur held notable offers from Middle Tennessee, Louisville, and Georgia State.
(6/14) – WR – Nekhi Martin, Not Rated, Newark, NJ, Paramus Catholic, 5’9/160
Yet another Garden State product, Martin pledged to the Owls as he heads into his senior season at Paramus Catholic.
Martin was originally listed as an Athlete positionally, but also made the switch to receiver via his commitment graphic.
Martin had 63 catches for 1,259 yards and 9 TDs for the Paladins, highlighted by a 202-yard, 3-TD game against St. Peter’s Prep. He was a 2025 JSZ All-Zone selection and held offers from Fordham and Stonehill, among others.
Martin’s commitment to the Owls followed his visit from June 12 to 14.
(6/16) Kamari Hollaway, RB, 3-Star, Durham, NC, Southern, 5’10/195
Temple extended their influence into North Carolina yesterday with the commitment of Kamari Hollaway, who joins the Owls as a three-star out of Southern High School in Durham, N.C.
Hollaway visited the Owls back on June 12 and holds offers from Rutgers, East Carolina, Miami, and many others. Notably, he is still scheduled to visit American Conference rival East Carolina on June 18.
Though as of now, he joins Ta’Kiesse Barnes as the second running back to pledge to Temple.
He finished his junior season with 1,420 yards and 13 TDs on 122 carries (11.6) while catching 5 passes for 56 yards and also spending time on defense, recording 36 tackles, 5 TFLs, and a 68-yard interception return TD.
The back was also a standout on Southern’s track and field team.
(6/16) Sincere Hester, Edge, Not Rated, Bronx, NY, Eagle Academy for Young Men, 6’2/230
Hester joins the Owls as one of the best players out of New York City in the class of 2027, hailing from Brooklyn. He played five positions at one point or another for Eagle Academy.
