Toronto – Part II of our Beyond the Keystone Series took us to Toronto, Ohio, where we saw the Toronto Red Knights defeated the Orange High School Lions of Cleveland 33-20.
Late Thursday night Wellsville High School had to cancel their game with Toronto due to Covid-19 concerns. Toronto was unsure whether or not they would be able to find an opponent, but Orange High School, which is from Pepper Pike, Ohio, a Cleveland suburb, stepped up made the journey south.
Toronto used a strong running game and defense to down the Lions 33-20 Friday night.
Zane Kinsey led the Red Knights with 140 yards rushing on 17 carries and scored three total touchdowns.
Late in the first quarter, Kinsey opened the scoring with a 1-yard run with 17 seconds remaining.

The Red Knights extended their lead in the second quarter when quarterback Aiden Mick ran a keeper in from three yards out.
The Toronto defense completely shut down the Lions’ offense in the first half, limiting them to only 37 yards.
Starting the second half with a bang, Kinsey returned the kickoff to the Lions’ 16-yard line.
Three plays later, Dominic Bouscher ran an end around 13 yards for a touchdown.
Toronto then extended the lead to 26-0 on their next possession as Kinsey hauled in a 13-yard screen pass on fourth-and-goal from Mick.
Kinsey added three catches for 13 yards, while Mick was 6-for-11, passing for 48 yards and the touchdown.
Orange High finally got their offense going and was able to score three times in the fourth quarter.
The first of which was when Arthur Bartko scored on a 2-yard run 97 seconds into the quarter. Bartko led Orange 65 yards on 15 carries.
The Red Knights answered right back with Kinsey’s 7-yard run to
push the score to 33-7.
Orange High would add touchdowns in the final six minutes to cap off the scoring.
Dariush Mifendereski hauled in a 25-yard touchdown pass from Tony Fatica, while Cole Schreibman scored on a 3-yard run.

Fatica completed 5-of-16 pass for 60 with a touchdown and interception while also rushing for 37 yards on nine attempts. Schreibman chipped in with two carries for 27 yards.
