Northern Lebanon stops Minersvilles comeback to win 25-20

Vikings stopped late Minersville Magic to win

Minersville coming into this week after a tough loss at Jim Thorpe while Northern Lebanon is coming into this game 2-0. This is the first time theses teams have ever met.

Starting the game Minersville strikes first with a long touchdown drive that ends with a fumble recovery touchdown from the 1 yard line to make the score 7-0. Not to long after #15 Markus Miller finds #5 Landon Copenhaver to make the score 7-7.

In the second half, #25 Brady Ryan starts to open up the game with a long Touchdown run but the extra point is blocked to make the score 13-7. Brady Ryan then goes again for a long touchdown to make it 19-7. Brady Ryan then finds the end zone to get his third touchdown to make it 25-7. #5 Cam Roger’s then gets his first touchdown to make it 25-13. Minersville gets an onside kick and then marches down the field to finish the drive with a #12 Derek Derenzo touchdown run to make the score 25-20. The Miners would get a stop but couldn’t convert a 4th down to make the final score 25-20.
