Notre Dame-Green Pond opens up their season at home in Fisher Stadium against Berks Catholic with a big 48-14 win. The Crusaders tool care of business in this game, especially in the second half, where they would add 5 more touchdowns to their 14-7 lead they had in the first half of the game. Drew Boyd would get touchdowns on both sides of the ball, getting a pick-6 before returning another touchdown before the clock expired; Aaron Gordon would net 2 touchdowns himself, as well as Tommy Murphy, Jason Frederick, and Johnathon Striba getting scores for the Crusaders offense. Notre Dame-Green Pond will start off 1-0 while moving on to next week where they will look to get their next win against North Schuylkill.
