If you thought you had a grasp on things, so did our rankings experts. Football seasons can be a lot like the game of texas hold’em. Sometimes the first hand (week one) isn’t in your favor, so you wait for the flop. Then, odds improve but your team is still behind (week 2). Then comes the river (week 3) and your opponent drew aces. That’s about where we are this week. A lot of teams begin conference play this week. That’s when we’ll start to see if teams were bluffing, or if they draw that straight flush.
